AARES 46th ANNUAL CONFERENCE

13-15 FEBRUARY 2002

CANBERRA, AUSTRALIAN CAPITAL TERRITORY

The 2002 Conference of the Australian Agricultural and Resource Economics Society will be held at Rydges Lakeside Hotel close to the heart of Canberra, and located near a range of accommodation, shopping and leisure activities. The conference is reverting to a more traditional time next year as part of our return to the nation’s capital. It has been over 10 years since the conference has been held in Canberra. This is your chance to discover the many landmarks of Australia’s national capital, including the recently opened National Museum. The Conference will run from Wednesday to Friday, with pre-conference workshops on the Tuesday. This will give delegates the opportunity to enjoy the weekend in Canberra or to visit the nearby wineries and mountains.
