If YES, then the Australian Agricultural and Resource Economics Society (AARES) would like to extend a warm invitation to attend their 54th Annual National Conference 8-12 February 2010.
The Conference will cover a range of topics highly relevant to the challenges currently facing resource dependent communities and industries.
Being held in Adelaide for the first time since 2001 the Conference presents a great opportunity for all those involved in research, extension, teaching, policy making and managing agri-food, wine and natural resources to catch up with the latest research. It will also be an opportunity to hear broader perspectives about where these issues fit in the Australian, New Zealand and international economies from some of the world’s leading resource and agricultural economists.
The Conference brings together leading environmental economists, scientists and policy makers to address major environmental management challenges with integrated economic research that provides immediate and continuing policy impacts. The integrated research and economic modeling presented by the Conference will provide attendees with the contemporary tools, understanding and frameworks to promote environmental sustainability.
A host of Australasian and international speakers will be in Adelaide to speak at the 2010 Conference, which promises to be an informative and dynamic event.
With over 200 sessions we have made it easier for you by colour coding the program into areas most likely to be of interest. Download the AARES Conference Program (pdf, 240kb)
