2009 AARES Conference

 
The 2009 Conference of the Australian Agricultural and Resource Economics Society (AARES) will be held in Cairns, Australia, from Wednesday 11th to Friday 13th February 2009. Workshops preceding the conference will be held on Tuesday the 10th of February. More information is available on our conferences page, and the official conference website.
 

2009 IAAE Conference

 
The 27th International Association of Agricultural Economists (IAAE) will be held next year in Beijing, China, 16-22 August 2009. The Australian Agricultural and Resource Economics Society (AARES) will offer up to 2 fellowships, in the amount of A$1,500 each, to support participation of AARES members in the IAAE 2009 conference. The deadline for applying for these Fellowships is on Friday, 19 December 2008. More information: Conferences 
 

Call for Papers - Canadian Journal of Agricultural Economics

 
The Canadian Journal of Agricultural Economics intends to publish a special issue in November 2009 on applications of modern computational economics to the environment, the agricultural and forestry sectors, and natural resources more broadly. For more information, read the Call for Papers.
